Paid Research Surveys

April 22nd, 2012 at 02:30 pm

I was just curious after seeing a blog post on Pine Cone Research who apparently pays money for people to take online surveys. The organization only accepts people on an invite only basis though so I haven't been able to get registered. After looking online, I found a couple other sites like Survey Savvy and Harris Poll but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for legitimate sites that also offered money for surveys.

MySurvey also pays, but you earn points that you redeem for cash or gift cards. It seems to take many more surveys to cash out for the minimum of $10.

I noticed that there is a link for Pinecone on
Text is this and Link is http://www.internetpaidsurveys.com/index.html
this website, but that it did not link to Pinecone, but to MySurveys. I would suggest you check it occasionally for a working link. If I get an email invite I'll try to remember to post it to your blog. Smile

Here are a few and they don't require invites. I don't get a lot of money from this, so don't expect to be able to quit your job or anything. But it does help me to save a little money for my house fund, car account, and pay off some debt.

    Toluna

    Mysurvey

Beezag (not surveys, but watching videos - very easy and quick)

    Opinionoutpost

    Opinion-Central

if you spend at least 1 hours daily doing surveys, you should be able to make at least $100 a month. Figure out what that comes to on an hourly basis and you'll it's not worthwhile unless YOU AVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE TO DO or are homebound or desperate, like me.

You also have to be extremely patient becus they all take far too long to mail you a check, if that's what you opted for. I'm talking like 8 weeks.

You'd be better off pursuing rewards credit cards with a big upfront cash bonus after you hit a certain spending target.

Just to add - you have to be the right demographic. I am completely in the wrong demographic for these survey sites - I have never made enough money that it was worth the time. {Pinecone doesn't want me - it is one of the better paying ones, I hear}.

What I have done is in-person focus groups. Search out to see if there are any focus group companies where you live. These in-person marketing surveys/tests often pay something like $50 per hour.

    I really like
Text is www.acop.com and Link is
www.acop.com. I make about $20 a month from them between surveys and product testing. But again, you have to be in the demographic they want to test or have a family member who is. It has run from watching a new children's tv show in preproduction with my son and answering survey questions together to having my husband test a new men's shower gel, to me doing an online food diary for a few days for the entire family, to watching commercials for new products and answering questions. There are just plain surveys there, too, but the other things pay better and they seem to like to pick me for them.
